8th Grade Art

Welcome!

I am so pleased to tell you that art will be a double-block period all year long! Eighth grade will have art every Thursday from 11:05-11:50 and then again from 12:45-1:35.

To start the year, you will be looking at different approaches to the "American Landscape" across time, and decoding what exactly makes up a landscape. In preparation for your geology field trip, you will then be drawing and painting your own landscapes with watercolors.

I'm looking forward to making "creative messes" this year!
