END OF SEASON SOCCER PARTY!!!

the party will be this monday, nov 3, during lunch, at the school. the coaches will be there and its our chance to say thanks to them for all their hard work. please consider donating to the coaches gifts (suggested $5-10 per family).

lunch will be provided for the girls.

10/29 game--driving

The 8th graders will be at All the King's Men on Wed and will not be done until around 2:30. Colleen has suggested that we may need to pick up the 8th grade soccer players from the theater.
I can pick girls up from the theater or from school (my car only seats 4 girls)
I cannot drive anyone from the game as I have to work in Edmonds at 5:30.
It might help to know for sure who is NOT going to the game that day. The vollyball players have an event, correct?

anyone have any ideas about the end of year party? i am happy to coordinate and just would love to hear your ideas re locations and dates and coach appreciation gifts. i imagine that a pizza party may be popular, but again if you have other ideas, let's hear em!!

I'm able to drive 6 girls up to the game on Wed. 10/22 to Lynnwood (Brighton) but not back to LWGMS. Kiki will not attend the practice on 10/23.

We are playing Seattle Girls School tomorrow and they have offered to play at their field so that we all are not driving to Van Asselt. Powell Barnett field is located at 352 Martin Luter King Jr Way which is between Alder and Jefferson on MLK.

Do we know how early girls are being dismissed for the Monday game at North Sound? If you take the express lanes you can actually make it to Montlake Terrace from the school in 1/2 an hour.
I believe Dave can drive to for sure—4 girls.
He has to be at work at 6:30 PM so cannot commit to drive all the way south after the game. Potentially, he could bring girls to our house which is near the Northgate mall and they could hang out there till they could be retrieved if needed. I could leave dinner for them (I work till about 7 that night)

Hi Soccer Families,

Our game tomorrow is against Seattle Country Day School and we will be playing at the B.F. Day Playfield. See the link above. The game is at 4:00 pm and the girls should be at the park ready to warm up at 3:30 pm. I am estimating a 30 minute drive, maybe a bit less. To that end, the girls will be getting out of class at 2:50 to change clothes and be ready to leave at 3:00 pm.

We are moving our Tuesday soccer practices to the TT Minor field located at 18th and Union beginning today. Do not go to Van Asselt today please!

Thursday practices will continue to be at Van Asselt. Please continue to work together to make sure that all players have rides to and from Van Asselt on Thursdays.

Maura (Seton's mom) & I (Janet-Kiki's mom) will be taking girls to soccer practice on Tues & Thurs...we alternate days, but can see if we can fix a certain date so we know how many girls we can take on that given day...Maura can fit 4 girls, and I can take 6. Is there other drivers who can drive regularly? Both Maura & I can drive on game days too so we are able to take 10 girls total. We are unable to take girls back to LWGMS...

Leslie Ashbaugh, Dawn Lum, Nancy Harriss-Bauer and Lisa Kutzen have volunteered to coordinate carpools, snacks, parties, etc. for our team.

Practices start tomorrow. The girls will meet their coach, Ashley, and walk to the Meredith Mathews Y from school. Be sure to pick them up sharply at 5:00 p.m. so Ashley can go home.
