Math 7
Most of you are working individually or in small groups on homework assignments that are listed on printed assignment sheets. On this web page, I'll keep a list of quizzes, tests, and projects for the entire class.
- Course 2 (Green Book) Assignment Sheets

May 27 through June 11!
- Finish Chapter 10: Chapter test on Thursday, May 29
- Final exam review: Tuesday and Wednesday June 3 and 4. Final exam: Thursday, June 5.
- Stock project: Continue accumulating information, graph increase and decrease in value of portfolios. Have graphs ready except for final day's data on June 5. Add final data, present, and hand in on Tuesday, June 10.
May 5 through May 24
- Finish Chapter 8: Chapter test on Wednesday, May 7; retake on Wednesday, May 14.
- Begin Chapter 10: HW #1 due 5/13, HW#2 due 5/14, HW #3 due 5/15, HW #4, 5, 6 due 5/20.
- Stock project: Investment groups start on Tuesday May 13, decide on stocks and begin tracking by Wednesday May 14. Track stocks through the month. Chart stock prices, and your investment income and losses. Use the New York Stock Exchange website to investigate your choices: http://www.nyse.com/
March 24 through May 2
- Work on your homework assignment sheets.
- Topics to be covered: Geometry and Measurement, Algebra Patterns, Graphing in the Coordinate Plane.
- Duct tape project: Design approved by Wednesday, April 23; finished product by April 30, Wednesday. Finish calculations from handout by the 30th.
March 3 through March 20
- Work on your homework assignment sheets all during the play rehearsal week.
- Develop projects for Pi day during the week of March 10 -14.
- Final exam Wednesday, March 19.
February 1 through February 29
- Topics to be covered: Ratios and proportions, similar figures, scale drawings, percents, fractions, and decimals. Each week there will be a five-problem quiz covering the topics we discuss as a class.
January 7 through January 30
- POW due on Tuesday, January 15.
- Begin platonic solid group project. The handout is available here: Platonic Solids Project2.doc
- Begin 2008 Mathematics Game.
