Math 8

All of you are working individually or small groups on assignments listed on printed assignment sheets. On this web page, I'll list all-class assignments and projects.

May 27 through June 10th!

  • While you are preparing the play, continue your homework assignments
  • Study for final exam, which will be on Thursday, June 5.
  • Here's a review sheet for the final that everyone will take on June 5.

May 5 through May 24

  • Assignment sheets—five assignments per week.
  • Duct tape project: Begin on Thursday, May 8, decide on project by Monday, May 12. Finished product and handout done by Monday, May 19.

March 24 through May 2

  • Work on assignment sheets.
  • Five-problem quiz every other week.

March 3 through March 20

  • Continue working on assignment sheets during the rehearsal week of March 10-14.
  • Develop project for Pi day, Friday, March 14.
  • Final exam, Monday, March 17.

February 4 through February 29

There will be a five-problem quiz each Friday on topics covered in class.

January 7 through January 11

December 21 through January 6—Happy New Year!

  • Have a wonderful holiday! See you January 7.

Week of December 17-20

  • No POW this week.
  • Prepare for test Thursday (12/20). We will review on Monday in class and a review sheet will also be available on Monday (12/17).

Week of December 10-14

  • No POW this week.
  • Prepare for test next Thursday (12/20). We will discuss this test today, review sheet available on Monday (12/17).
