Microscope use lesson. Learn the parts of the microscope and how to use it. Make a slide of cheek cells. Stain them with iodine. Practice focusing, changing the light brightness, changing the magnification.

HW: Write a reflection on the drop of water. (About 1/2 of a page in your journal.) What did you see? How was using the microscope for a second day? How would you respond to someone who said, "But I can't see anything." (This should be trouble-shooting about both the microscope and the drop of water.)
